Communications Trailer

A communications trailer was suggested for field work and emergency communications, including demonstrating what AR can achieve when all else falls appart. A trailer was donated and work commenced in Warrnambool by Jim VK3DFL. Obviously the right person for the job, competent, experienced with a well equiped shop.

September – October 2023. David, VK3DJC, presented to Glenelg Shire Council a grant application for funds towards the trailer and communications equipment. It was successful. Simon, VK3SMP, attended the awards night, October 18 2023.

The trailer started as an existing unit.

After Jim, VK3DFL, assessed what was useable he was left with an axle, springs and the A frame.
